SS23 LOOKBOOK

The idea for the collection developed from research into ancient artifacts of war - pistols, cannons, plates of armour and blades. The gender coding of combat gear subverted into feminine silhouettes or the formality of an officer's suit made soft in retro corduroy. RICKYY WONG STUDIO presents Love and Care to the Hyperreal World. Using video gaming as the concept of the presentation, models who acted as NPC (“non player character” in video gaming terminology) led the guests to enter the video gaming world. The presentation is surrounded by videos created by the same concept. This concept had been an interesting contradiction to the design concept of the SS23 collection which comes from the ancient world.
